Pictures of the 3 Honda 600 sedans I purchased at an estate auction

Hi,
I'm new to the forum and wanted to share my purchase with you. At an
estate auction last weekend I was the high bidder on these cars. The
auctioneer announced "high bidder takes pick" and when the hammer
dropped he looked at me and asked which one I wanted and I said "all
three" .. Bang, just like that I owned three complete N600's.

I'm retired and attend all the estate auctions in the area so
finding them was easy. Coming from a heavy automotive background I
always buy anything carwise that looks interesting at the auctions. 5
months ago I picked up a 1980 Datsun 200SX with 56K which also sat
for 10 years unused. She runs so well that I insured and registed it.
Previously (in the last 9 months) I've found a 1967 Jeep J-10
Gladiator PU, a 1974 LAPD Moto Guzzi Police Eldorado, an all original
KZ900 Kawasaki and others going back further. I rarely sell so they
are all here.
I lucked out on the Honda Sedans. I found open titles for each one
in the glove box. There was only one other bidder on them and he
dropped out quick so I paid very little for all three cars.
What I don't understand is why somebody hasn't put together a
cross application chart for compatible parts. Things like points,
condenser, carb gaskets and o-rings, accelerator pump diaphrams,
wheel cylinder cups and caliper seals and dust boots, master cylinder
cups, etc. I'm amazed at the lack of info out there on fast wear and
tear items.
I'll regularly post what I find as I bring one back to life so
others can share the info I find.

Hi Frank,
Just a quick note, there is a database on one of these groups websites. It's more of a database on where to locate parts, but some cross-compatibility references exist.
oh, and FYI, you can still get the points from your Honda Dealership. I ordered a few sets last year and got them a week later. I am pretty sure you can get the condenser and points from the motorcycle dealership. Just bring in an old one and ask them to help.

Well as they say, you can retire from cars but you never get
tired of cars. My Dad was car dealer for many years and he is now 70
and is still buying and selling cars in his retirement as well as
tractor lawn mowers and anything else thats mechanical or has wheels.
They are great shots of the cars and well done for finding them,
there are many surprises here in New Zealand from early American,
English,and European cars that were all imported over the years.
There are still many to be discovered that are stored away in the

i live in california, but spend some time in the philippines--i'm the proud owner of what i believe to be the last left-hook HOLDEN PREMIERS--circa 1970--wonder if anyone in your circle would be interested--still has the original 186 6-banger and 2-speed auto tranny--i drive it once in awhile when i'm over there--pretty straight old girl--let me know if you want any pictures--

Well thats just nocked my socks off, a left
hook holden whow... I didnt even no that they made
them. I would think that car is worth pretty good
money back in Aussie as a rearity to a collector.
Im sure there are any number of early holden car clubs
around.
My biggest mistake ever was selling my 1962 MK2 Ford
Zephyr pick up truck. They are very rear and worth a
fortune, I feel ill every time I think about it.

yep--they were imported to the phillipines in the '70's --(kingswoods were usually taxis or cop cars--premeirs were for the politicians--i procurred a lot of parts from aussieresurrection (or was that res-a wrecktion?--got his e-mail and number here someplace) would love to see it go back to australia someday to a collector--it's under cover now, but rust is creeping back in on some of the surfaces--got TOTALLY raped on one of the lousiest paint jobs i've ever seen, but at least it looks better than it used to--fires up and runs/drives very well every time i need to go to the store--wouldn't be a problem getting it shipped out--shipping shouldn't be too much--just need to find a buyer who doesn't think i'm trying to scam them (me living in california and the car on mactan island near cebu city and the airport)
