Hi there-
I recently installed 2 early 90's miata seats (black cloth) in my
n600. It took a little tweaking of the miata seat rails, some
spacers between the rear mounts and the floor, and new mounting
holes filled with riv-nuts. To fill in the original mounting holes,
I cut some 5/8" neoprene foam plugs and suffed them in the old holes
with some black RTV to seal them in place (think foam ear plugs).
Anyhow, it's not for the restoration crowd, but the seats are very
comfy and supportive. Unfortunatly, they're not as supportive as my
racing bucket was, and you slide around a bit more when the slicks
are heated up!
The seats are just about as wide as a stock seat is, (might be a
smidgen narrower) so they allow for plenty of room to fish around
for the seatbelt inbetween the seats.
Cheers!
Miles
