AZ600

I bought a 72 az600 for $300 for parts with an older rebuilt engine
that runs great and drives and has rollover damage on the front
driverside. i bought it with no title but when i decided to go thru the
car after i got it home to clean out the big amount of trash inside of
it i found the original 1972 california title signed buy the owner and
the credit union. also found 2 unused original air filters, 2 unused
oilfilters and barely used brake pads :) i feel like i struck gold...
anyways i dont know what to do, i kinda want to get rid of it but i
dont have a title (car is titled in washington state and has not been
registered since 1994) from what i know cars that have not been
registered in washington for over 7 years fall off the system and dont
exist. i live in washington state by the way, i was wondering if i
could just use the california title that i
found in the car and sell it or what??? i thought about parting it and
cutting it up and scrapping it but i just cant do it since these
cars are soo rare, it would be a shame. so basicly what im asking is
anyone have any ideas what i should do???

Re: the rollover damage - Call B&B? They are in Washington as I -think-
they have an assortment of junked 600s that you might find body parts at
(anybody - is this right?). OR, find a good body to add your good engine
to.
Re: the title: ask the State! Call your DMV and give them your story (you
could do it anonymously) and let them tell you what the legality really is.
If based on what they say you have to get "creative", at least you'll know
what the deal is.

American title co. or a hundred others will get you a title for about $200 bucks it's an easy process so don't sweat it

business hours of 8:00AM to 5:30PM Pacific time. I visited them last on
4-25-98, and they still have dozens of Honda 600 cars there. They even have
two S600 roadsters. They have some new parts and thousands of used parts.
Most all are for sale.
