hi this is dean. i just thought you would get a smile from finding a car under a walnut tree. when i bought my hondaAZ600 i new it had had mice and had not driven after 1987. i went through the car cleaning it and getting it ready to run it. when i did start the car it came to life at once and without a muffler it let the neighboor hood know too. as soon as it had warmed up the engine started to smoke a lot. at first i thought i was goung to have an engine fire but it smelt woodsy. the smoke was comming from the heat exchanger. i turned off the engine and let the engine cool. when i opened the heat exchanger i found it was full of walnuts. apperently the hood was off the car for some time and either walnuts fell in to the heat exchanger or a critter desided that was a good hiding place. after i cleaned the nuts out of the heat exchanger the car runs great and no smoke. any one want toasted walnuts???

That's funny, my parts car was full of walnuts too! If I can believe
the last registration sticker, it had been parked since 1977 under a
walnut tree. They were tucked everywhere in the engine bay, and when I
was towing it home, my wife who was following me reported that I was
loosing them all over the road!
