Jen. the piston with diaphram attatched seems to be unique to the hondamatic. There is a  company in holland selling them for 178 euros or adout $400 delivered. Thats pretty steep so I'm looking at alternatives. I live near the motorcycle museum at Nabiac & there was an automatic Honda 600 motorbike built in the early 70,s so I will try them at some stage. Also there is supposed to be a guy in Victoria who makes this type of piston/ rubber diaphram.  Thanks patrick

Hi. I am in Bulahdelah, north of newcastle. I have a hondamatic & a manual N600. I need the piston diaphram out of the carburetter if you know where I can get one to get the hondamatic going. Or I might sell both if anyone is interested. They owe me about $1200.. Patrick 02 49974292

I'm in Geraldton WA, have an N360 on the road and 2 for spares. They've been my pets for about 15 years.

Patrick,
Australian Diaphragms in Geelong, Victoria can make up a diaphragm. I showed them one many years back and they said they could do it. They also fit new diaphragms to vacuum advance units.
They are carburettor reconditioners, Allcarb Pty Ltd.
Here are their contact details from about 10 years ago.
Not sure if the details are still current.
13 Edols Place
North Geelong 3215
Phone 03 5277 2334
Fax 03 5277 2114
Email jvanprooyen@...
Cheers,
Mark.
