THE NEW WINDSHIELD SEAL IS IN. THERE ARE SEVERAL AVALIABLE IT IS MADE IN THE USA FROM EPDM. THERE ARE SEVERAL OF THE FIRST RUN SEALS INSTALLED IN CARS IN OUR LOCAL 600 CLUB. IT COMES COMPLETE WITH THE ONE PIECE CROME LOCKING BEAD THERE IS SOME PICS ON MY GROUP PAGE OF THE SEAL IN THE MY SEDAN. IT ALSO FITS THE COUPE. I AM WORKING ON THE REAR WINDOW SEAL AND THE DOOR AND QUARTER WINDOW WEATHERSTRIP. THIS HAS BEEN A LONG PROSESS I THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PATIENCE IN THIS MATTER. Hi,
Does anyone know offhand what the dwell angle for the ingnition timing
is for a '71 Sedan? Can't find it in the books or online...

Hi Linda,
   The dwell for the N600 and Z600 is 90 degrees.  If your dwell meter does not have a 2 cylinder setting,  use the 4 cylinder position and set the dwell angle for 45 degrees.
   I will set the point gap for 0.013 inches,  start the engine,  and then set the dwell for 90 degrees (45 degrees on my dwell meter because it only goes as low as 4 cylinders).

I can provide a seal for the front and rear wind shield of a AN 600 and the front windshield of a AZ600 for $100.00 and it doesn't need a chrome strip.
But I can't guarantee it won't crack, craze or shrink.  I can't say that it will be without flaws but it will go around your windshield.
It's cheap, and holds the window in place.  Window rope will do the same thing, and it s about $40.00 for enough to do each windshield.
They don't look original but if you just want to hold the windshield in place, then these will do the trick.
