Paint Matching

Post by juniselect »

Hey all,
I'm trying to track down the best match for a can of spray paint to redo
some of the bronze/gold fixtures under the hood. Any suggestions would
be helpful. I looked at Home Depot tonight but didn't have any success
matching it up.
An example would be the headlight housing.
Thanks in advance,
Marty

Hi Marty, check out the Eastwood company. They have a paint kit that looks close to the plating your talking about.

You're trying to emulate cadmium plating.
Eastwood sells a kit (as well as the separate components) that works pretty well.

Eastwood has a lot of stuff like this that is pretty good for restoring our cars. Rust management, gas tank repair & sealer, for example.
