Hi,
I'm a new member and would like to say hello to all.
In 1997 I bought a 1972 Z600 Coupe for $250.00. It was in great shape except there was a major electrical problem that kept it from starting. I knew the car because the owner had been buying gas at a auto service center I was managing and I told the owner I would like to have 1st shot at buying it if he ever decided to sell it. When the car developed the electrical problem the owner sold it to me and the problem turned out to be rust where the wiring harness grounded to the firewall. I cleaned the connector, refastened it and had a great car.
I drove the car for 7 months with a broken accelerator cable being the only problem I had. It was more of a problem finding a new cable than it was fixing it. The car was stolen and rolled, needless to say it was totaled. Whoever it was took the car trashed it before rolling it, never did find out who took the car.
I've had an interest in getting another one over the years but have never found one for sale. That is why I am posting this message, if there is anyone that knows about, or has a Z600 Coupe or 600 Sedan that is in restorable condition, I would be very interested in finding out about it.

Anytime there is something for sale or something is wanted for purchase, especially when it is a larger item (such as a car) where shipping may become a major cost consideration, it is extremely helpful to note the area of the country you are located.
