FW: Auto Paint - General

Because of the discussion on how paint effects the cooling of cylinders, I
figured going to the product manufacturer of paint specifically for engines
would be one way to find out. Who better than the support section of TCP
GLOBAL auto paints a nation wide manufacturer of paint products. Their views
are in the thread below, with my question to them below that.

Hi Kev;
Like it says in the e-mail.  The support desk.
But I also asked Bill Hirsch of Hirsch Automotive and his answer was the same.  I might add that the product that Hirsch Automotive provides is their own product.  It kind of melts to the metal in the curing process, which means that the engine has to heat up sufficiently to cure the paint.   I have cleaned it with solvent and it is still there.
