Does anyone need parts?

Post by eric.geiger »

I'm going to meet a lady on Friday morning who restored a z600 she has an attic full of left overs from combining 2 cars. If anyone is looking for something specific let me know and I can look for it.
Also if anyone has any recommendations on a part that is known to go bad that I'm surely going to need down the road and should buy just to keep for peace of mind please let me know.
She has mostly mechanical parts, some interior and a few body panels(yellow coupe doors I believe) an glass for a coupe. I think she also said she had some inner door panels for a sedan?
Email me personally with your request/price and phone number. Also remember that any parts I buy for you you will have to pay shipping on unless you can pickup from me. I travel all around the USA for work and will be on the east coast for the next month or so as well so I may be able to meet you during my travels
Thanks ERIC

So i went to the house today to look for some parts for my coupe. The couple was very friendly and we had some great conversation and i found a few parts i needed and more that i didn't but still wanted. i was going to buy just a radio and a spare headlight, i asked her if she ever wanted to sell the entire lot as a whole let me know and she said thats what she really wanted to do. So I bought it all
There were 20+ medium USPS flat rate boxes full of parts and more large parts. i didn't even scratch the surface but know it was a good deal and that ill get use out of the parts over the life of my car.
just a few of what i bought is the following
2x sedan seats no rips (drivers seat is back part only)
1x sedan door (not sure which side)
10-15 pieces of glass with at least 4 windshields
6 wheels/tires
2 full rack and pinion steering rack
3 steering columns with steering wheels
sedan hubcaps
window mechs.
20+ boxes of bits including fuel pumps, master cylinders, starters,
carburator,seatbelts,
I won't be able to fully sort it for about 2 months but when i get it sorted ill make a master list incase i can help anyone out.
Thanks

I went and met with parts guy #2 today to grab some items i needed didn't have much but ended up with some good finds.
Bought the following
NOS front upper grill molding in the package. this was the best find of the day!!!
very very clear read emblem for a Z600
upper cam housing to change my sedan one to a coupe.
He also had the better portion of 2 engines sitting apart in boxes that I'm gonna come back for in july just to keep as spares. ill most likely try and build a complete engine over time to have as a backup.
i may go meet with one more person tomorrow with some sedan parts just to see whats available. he has some suspension bits
