Rear seat latch covers

Post by Lyle »

Hi all. Check out the rear seat latch covers I made for my Coupe in the photo section. They were a lot of work. I hand made a mold for the right and left covers from wood and clay, using my old broken ones as a pattern. Then using an ABS plastic sheet I vacuum formed the basic shape. Using the mold to hold the parts I then CNC machined the cut-outs and trimmed the outside by hand. They fit great and they look like the originals. Gives the rear area a factory finished look.

Hey thanks for the compliments. Of course I will make some for the rest of the Honda folks, gotta keep our cars looking great. I have enough material to make about 30 sets. The mold is holding up well and I wrote A CNC program for the cut-out. Contact me through my website
http://tru-craft.com/
I will keep the price as low as I can, but it will depend on how many people are interested.
Thanks

I CNC milled all the parts and trimmed the outside shape. So I have 20 parts boxed up and ready to go. The covers do look nice on the car and give the trunk area a factory look.
Total price shipped to you: $43.00 for one set.
Paypal or a check. craft59@...
Let me know if you want a set and I will send them out next week.
Include your shipping address.
I will list them on Ebay but the price will be higher because of listing and selling fee's.
Thanks
Lyle
