Hi Steve;
Not having owned any fire engines, can't say if Magma Red is the same color.  The Magma Red on my Hondamatic is more burgundy.  Not to say it's correct but it was matched to the color on the inside of the doors.   Unlike most cars there is no color tag on Honda 600's which makes it really tough to say what the original color is unless you pull the panels off the doors or rear sections of the interior.

Well, maybe Rand is looking for Scarlet Red then.  Unfortunately I cannot find any literature that identifies which color is which.

I appreciate all the help. I will go to my local paint store (auto paint) and have them show me a sample. Did any of you see the honda for sale on eBay or hemmings with the white poodle hanging out the driver side window.  That is the car I bought. If you remember it then you'll see the red color it is.  I'll either keep it original, or if I was to change it I like that red on the honda accord that came out a few years ago. It's the non metallic red, a bit deeper than fire engine red but it's a really nice red.

From Body Color samples for N360, LN360, and TN360. Magma Red is burgundy and Light Scarlet is red.

Mine must be the light scarlet then, the pics are still up on hemmings and it's bright enough that I'm sure it's not the Magma
