Need shocks real bad. Does anyone know of something that will work as

I have used the front shocks for a 1969-1971 VW Bug with ball
joints. They are a bit wide but really made a difference when I was
going into a turn. Another is the front shocks from a 1969 Datsun
Pick up. Seares has a gas filled shock that is a single tube and no
cover on the top, works ok, really stiff. But, you don't have to bend
the body lip where the seam hits as with the VW shocks.
Just keep your mouth open when hitting a bump, otherwise you may
crack a tooth.
