dodgey exhausts

Post by Roger »

Hi All,
Just had a look at the group site and that photo of the engine... no
wonder you guys over there had lower horsepower, that is one poor
exhaust. I'm glad we (Aus) got the good ones.... anyone know the
specs of things like Yoshimura cams for the 600? or anything else
High Preformance that was being done when they were new?
Regards
Roger

Hi Roger;
That is not the exhaust, it's the heat exchanger, it keeps you windows
clear in the cold weather. The exhaust flows right through and collects at
the down curve.
If yours are better, show me. Because this is a different head than the
angle port head I believe your thinking of.

Bill ,
It was the exhaust I was looking at.... mine are probably the angle
port type? one exhaust down each side as opposed to both own the
left. That system looks restrictive in comparison. All my books and
cars etc are at home so I can't even look for something to scan but
I would be suprised if you don't have something there!.
