Hi are you talking about lock if so I have one with key 20.00 dollars plus shipping.

I've looked for them on and off over the years without much luck. I did
find one in the first year CVCC that was the same.

Hi Douglas,
Please see #2 in attached document.
I have the lock itself and the key and what I need is the assembly with the white hard plastic that engages to the tail gate striker. It is labeled #2 in the document I have attached. If this is the part you have, I'll take your offer and please inform me of how we are going to go thru with the deal.

The striker portion is always the part that breaks. I was thinking to
take one apart and have a CNC shop make a bunch of them for people
like us with this reoccuring problem. No one ever sells the striker
on it's own. I'm not sure how you would go about taking it apart to
switch out the part. Anyway, I'm still in for the lock assembly
complete with key for $20.

If you don't have the assembly which has the plastic(called the lock assembly) and all you have is the lock itself with the key then please go ahead and sell it to the other guy who is interested in just the lock.
