Hi folks! I dismantled my little sedan for body work and paint a while back and it should be ready to reassemble soon. Before I reinstall the drive train, does anyone have any good words of advise on things that should be done to the drive train while it's out? I've read the timing chain is probably something that should be looked at. Does anyone have a source for these and top end gaskets?
Also, the previous owner apparently took out some aggression on the carburetor damaging the top and the aluminum piston that fits in the top of the carb. If anyone has a good carb or possibly some parts, I'm certainly in the market. Aside from not running good due to the carburetor, the engine didn't smoke knock or rattle and seemed pretty peppy the mile or so I drove it.
