Fletcher;
There is a long term solution for the oil filter issue.   Go to
and then to the photo album and look for the oil cooler on a sedan pictures.
You can mount just the remote filter and modify the center bolt and oil filter cap to just have a better (and spin on) filter.
Then later if you decide a cooler would be nice to have it can be added.
All kinds of remote filter applications are available at www.perma-cool.com then you will never have to worry about finding a filter again.
