My Z600 project begins.

Hi guys,
I'm finally starting my Z600 project. I bought this car about a year ago in Texas and now I'm about to start rebuilding the engine, fixing up the interior, and putting some different paint on it.
I'm taking an engine rebuilding class at our local college and I'll be rebuilding my Z600 engine this semester. I'll actually be taking the engine out tommorrow morning.
Any advice on engine removal would be greatly appreciated. I saw another person one here posted his method of engine removal and lowered it out the bottom of the car. I'll be trying the same method with mine.
I do know I'm going to need a couple things: Looks like I'm missing some cylinder head bolts, and the shrouds that go on the sides of the engine to channel air around it. I MIGHT need pistons, but won't know for sure till we take it apart.
Also, How can I upload pictures of my progress? I have some funny pics of me towing my 900 lb Z600 coupe with my 20ft long 4500 lb 1960 Buick Electra. good stuff.

Mike,
Most folks upload thier pictures to a service like
snapfish or photobucket or Flickr . You can get links to your pictures and paste them into your emails.

I put a picture on photobucket. I'll try a couple different types of links to see which one works best.

That's a picture of when I towed it up to Kansas City. My Buick usually gets about 17 mpg at about 53mph. I got almost 20mpg while towing my Honda at about 42mph. Awesome.

Love that Buick. That reminded me of a time back in the 80s that I was following a friend in his 1979 Cadillac Coupe Deville and he ran out of gas. So I pushed him several miles to the next gas station with my 600 coupe.When we got to the station people were pointing and clapping as they saw the Honda pushing the Cadillac. I wish I had a picture of that! And without saying it was way beyond a workout for my Coupe.

Wow, that's amazing you were able to push him without damaging your honda to badly.
I can't even imagine trying to pull my 4500 lb Buick with my 900 lb Honda. I guess it would work as long as I didn't go over 10mph. :-)
