Hi guys, I've located most of the parts I need to rebuild my engine, EXCEPT for one last piece.
I need a cam chain tensioning wheel.

As you can see, mine was pretty chewed up. If any of you have one, or know where I can get one, please let me know.
I am also still looking for cheap used pistons for a Z600 coupe. I think I'll go with everyone's advice and replace mine if I can find replacements.
thanks guys,
Mike.
The missing piece of my puzzle.
Re: The missing piece of my puzzle.
Mike, You're tensioner wheel looks pretty much like most of mine. Like most that are removed from most engines having done some thousands of miles. In my experience, that one should be able to be returned. Marshall.

Just make certain the non-return valve in the hydraulic pressure unit is fuctioning correctly.

Re: The missing piece of my puzzle.
Marshall & Mike, a good used roller might work OK, saw one on Ebay.
I don't really want to use 38 year old rubber/plastic rollers in my fresh rebuild.
I talked to Miles and Bill about making new rollers.
We are working on material and design issues.
Will start a new post.

thanks Jerry,
Some one already bought that one. Looks like it went pretty fast. I wrote to the guy, and I think he has more than one. Hopefully anyway.
