Hi guys,
I'm having a few minor problems with my engine. I rebuilt it a while ago and it mostly runs pretty well, but idles rough and occasionally sputters when going up hills. I know I have more problems than just the carb, but I'm curious:
Has anyone ever replaced the carb on their 600 engine with a carb that is a little more common and easier to rebuild? I don't know much about motocycles, but it looks like any typical medium sized Honda motorcycle carb ought to work for this engine, or no?
Just pondering my options,

Stay with what it came with, ti's a easy to fix carb. Unless you do tons of research to find something close, and then get custom machine work to adapt it to fit, stick with stock.
