After Market Air Filters

Hi. The air filter on my coupe is pretty well shot, and I don't think it was the correct air filter any way.
I'm thinking of replacing the whole air filter housing with an after market air filter/intake like this one:

What do you guys think? Is that an ok thing to do to a Honda 600 engine? Any possible negative side effects?

I have a similar filter that I bought from Autozone on my Z600. Coupled with a high flow muffler my Z now tops out at 95MPH.
