I need to replace a valve stem for one of the intake valves on my Honda Coupe. I had taken it to a machine shop that does a lot of head work on cars, but they said they could not get a replacement valve stem.
I was thinking of trying to find a machine shop that specializes in motorcycle engines, and maybe they would be able to get one.
What do you guys think?
Does anyone know where I could get a new valve stem? It certainly is not a part that people would need very often and I didn't see anything on ebay.
thanks,
Mike.

Re: New Valve Stem
I'm thinking you mean valve guide rather than stem. Yes, you might check with a motorcycle shop for something that comes close. It might be possible to modify one to fit.
