Since it's been the topic of choice I want to share what I've done to my Z600. My intake filter cost me around $20. Another $20 for the electric fan, and $5 for the aluminum bar stock I used to make the bracket to hold the fan in place. The filter with a less restrictive exhaust has gained me a top speed of 95mph. The electric fan lowered the temperature from 250 to 190 on the aluminum head verified by an infrared thermometer. Let me know what you guys think.

In 72 I got my yellow honda up to 90mph for a few minutes than let off the gas and blew out the spark pluges... cant remenber the rpms but it was screaming.

What electric fan are you using -- do you have a make and part number -- and how many amps does it draw? I like the concept of an electric fan, but I've wondered whether the current draw might make it difficult for the electrical system to run both it and other items like headlights, heater fan, etc. (One fellow that had posted a video online of his electric fan setup was running the fan off of the power generated by a separate alternator drive via a belt from the pulley from the original fan belt.)
On the issue of speed, I agree with a couple of the others -- pushing the car past 75 mph in a stock engine configuration can be damaging. When I owned my Honda 600 sedan years ago, I drove it up to 85 mph out on the interstate a fair number of times. I didn't know why at the time, but the timing chain jumped at around 40,000 miles, so I had to rebuild and change it. Then it happened again at around 60k -- only 20,000 miles later. It wasn't until I read one of Bill Colford's articles that I realized that my pushing the speed up so high had been stressing -- and stretching -- the timing chain, leading to the premature timing chain jump in my sedan's engine.
With the coupe that I own now, I seldom push the speed over 65 mph, and never over 70, to keep from causing problems. The stock timing chain on our 600 cars are so long and flimsy (perhaps flimsy is too strong a word, but it gets the point across), that they can stretch easily if put under stress. There is other chain you can get with the same pitch but with heavier components that is less prone to stretching, but the timing chain is only one aspect of the stock-configured engine that might suffer if the rpms are pushed up beyond red-line.
