Need advice on price
I am seriously looking to purchase a 1970 Honda 600. It doesn't run but I don't know what's wrong with it. The body and interior are in good condition but will need to be painted. Needs a new steering wheel and has a little rust. We have not checked the bottom of the car for rust - (it was raining) Been sitting a while, but don't know how long. The asking price is $1,000. Any suggestions on a fair price?

My advice is jack it up and REALLY poke the bottom well with an awl if you think there is any rust. Also lift up the carpets and look under the back seat. These cars often have so much factory undercoating the rust areas are much worse than you think. ask me how I know :)

Thanks Dave--- Do you have any advice on a purchase price -- if the underside is in good condition?
