Back to the chain slipper.
After looking at this stupid pin and pocket design, I noticed that the gasket holds the pin in! So as the gasket compresses from the small round pin smashing against it for years, it allows the pin to move down and get loose. Next the pin starts deforming the aluminum until we have a total failure.
Instead of doing the same thing over again, I will use JB weld like Bill and others have suggested.
My new plan is to make the slipper pin pocket longer, wider and deeper.
Since the size of the pocket is not important, I will do it with a dremel by hand so I can create under cuts (reverse draft angles) for the JB weld and pin to be trapped in place.
By covering the pin with JB weld it will distibute the load over a larger & flatter area.
I will also use longer dowel pins.
Will take pictures later.

Waiting for material for my real job, so I had a busy day working on the Honda!
Did a valve job on my Orange coupes head, only 4 valves!
Then ground out the slipper pin pockets on the cylinder and case.
Used the longer 5mm x 25mm pin in the bottom hole in the cam slipper.
Then ground 2 flats on it for more surface area.
Used a 3/16" x 1-1/16 dowel pin for the upper pin, also ground a flat on it.
Bought some new JB weld after work and will finish up tomorrow.

Finished up the JB weld repair, looks good and should be a very strong long lasting repair. Thanks for the help.
