Parts for Honda 600's

Hi Kev, I have a few sets of CV boots, with the clamps and grease.
They match my 1972 Coupe boots perfect and are soft and in perfect shape.
I don't know if they will fit other years?
I will keep 2 sets for myself and sell the rest.

Other than stabilizing the rubber bushing, I'm not sure what purpose the cupped washers serve!? .....but believe enlarging the I.D. would likely render them completely useless.
A simple grind job on the sleeve would do the trick and found it is about the thickness of the cupped washer longer than stock - as opposed to the previously mentioned 1/4".
....I'm confident you'll figure it out!

I checked the front drive shafts on my 2 cars both 1972 coupes.
The Orange one uses 4 "Outer" longer boots, for the "inner" and "Outer".
The Blue one uses a "inner" short boot and a "Outer" longer boot.
Is this common?
I have both inner and outer boots that I bought.
I will also trade for parts I need.

Hi Lyle,
   If you look at the parts catalog for the sedan and coupe,  you will find both models used the same CV boots.  The outer boots were longer than the inner boots.  So,  you have one car which has 4 outer boots on it.   The outer boots are the ones which wear/tear the most often.

Hi Dale, my front shafts on the Orange car has the inner clamping groove a 1/2 inch farther away from the spline than on the Blue car.
Maybe late in the 72 year run they decided to use the same boot. All they had to do was move the clamping groove on the axle a 1/2".
The boot ID and OD are the same just the length is different.
See CV boot photo's in the photo area.
This is good for me since I only have 1 new inner boot!
