Parts for Honda 600's
I found a couple small local suppliers that have a small amount of Honda 600 parts.
NOS and some new.
The stuff looks to be in nice shape.
Mostly:
*Brake
*Ignition
*filters
*CV boot kits
I will buy the inventory so it won't be scrapped.
Like I said before, I only plan on having one Honda.
I will keep some parts for backup and sell the rest cheap (or trade) to friendly Honda owners!
I also have a great small local industrial supplier (Motorcycle buddy) I use for my shop. I can get new Viton and Buna O-rings and seals really cheap through them. They got me "almost" all the seals/o-rings for my carb, engine & transaxle. Still searching for a couple unusual size seals.
We have quite a few owners, find a part we can use.
Tie rod ends, ball joints, rubber boots for them....

Hi Lyle,
That was a good find. Let us know what you have for sale after you sort out what is extra. I never would have suspected that Florida would be a gold mine for 600 parts.

Re: Parts for Honda 600's
Dale, didn't want to mislead, it's not a Gold mine! Just some parts from an independent auto parts store that closed a few years ago.
Hey, anything we can find is good.
I will get the stuff this weekend, its mixed with a bunch of parts so I don't know what is 600 parts yet.
I was just excited to find anything related to a 600!

Re: Parts for Honda 600's
what parts are unobtainable? I have been ordering parts I need from japan but have passed up on a lot of parts because I didn't need them but if I had a list of parts that we cannot touch I could snag them up when I find them

Re: Parts for Honda 600's
Steve, I was thinking about how to organize the parts we need for our Honda's, again.
I think your web site is the best place!
http://www.honda600coupe.com/index.html
His site was the reason I got into the Honda's, good pictures, links, info and well organized! Yahoo is a good place to post questions, but we need our own place for information!
Steve, how about a list of parts we have found that will work.
Something simple and easy to update, maybe a word document?
Honda Coupe Front Strut assembly
Vickers#24377-1969 Saab-AutoZone-$43.
Then if a member finds another part, reproduces a part or finds a new source that is better or cheaper we send the info to Steve.
We all need parts, this could help us all, if we all help.

Re: Parts for Honda 600's
Lyle,
That sounds like a fine idea! I think that I would just post the list of parts as a webpage, with links when available, and folks can just email additions that I will add to the page. If the list was a word document, it runs the risk of getting improperly edited whenever someone sends back an updated version, or, if two or more people send their own updated versions to me at the same time, losing info becomes a possibility.
No sooner said than done.
http://www.honda600coupe.com/Honda_600_ ... ility.html
As the list grows, the layout and organization will no doubt change, but it's a start.
Steve
PS: My site got you into 600s?
Fabulous!

Re: Parts for Honda 600's
Sorry Jerry, yes, it was just an example.
But, see how desperate we are for parts!!!!
If I said, I have NOS suspension parts, I could be selling them for way more than they are worth!
That's wrong, and if we sit back and wait, we will be trapped by the people who have the last parts left.
Hey, that's OK for people doing a perfect restoration and want all NOS Honda original parts.
But, for people who just want to drive their Honda's it will suck.
This has happened to many vintage cars.
