After messing with restoring Honda Mini Trails, I want to get into
a '72 600. At least when I restore a 600, I can drive it. My totaly
restored Mini Trail, a Z50A K-1, just sits under its cover now that
the resto is done, unseen and unused. So, where can I find a '72
600? I rarely see them advertised. Are parts still available from
Honda dealers? Any body reproducing OEM parts that are no longer
available from Honda? Would it be best to buy a 600 already
restored? I notice the collector appraisal services are putting the
high end of the price range for a 600 at about 5k. True? If I find
an incomplete car, what are the real $pendy items to find? Before
some guys started reproducing the head and taillights on my Mini
Trail, it was big bucks to find original versions. Thank you for
your time-Scott
How do I get into my first 600?
Re: How do I get into my first 600?
I have 4 sedans. Various things needed but basically a couple are
complete, just need TLC. One is minus engine but has good body. One
is stripped inside-previous owner raced it-and body is in primer. I
am in Indiana. If interested, let me know. As for your questions
about what is available and what costs, this board should be a good
source of info. I have gotten good info and help from Mike O'Connor
and Miles Chappell. Ask them for catalog of their parts.
