my apologies for reopening the subject of tires. i saw in your
archives that tires were discussed a few months back, but i just
bought my honda z600 2 weeks ago and have a few questions.
1)a few months ago people said that coker has michelin molds and is
making tires. i went to coker web site, and it does not list the
tire. i telephoned coker, and they said no we don't carry the tire.
have they stopped making it and sold all their stock, or is it a new
product and not yet on their inventory lists?
2)somewhere (i think on ebay) someone wrote that yokohama a008 are no
longer made? is this true? if so it would explain the current low
stock and not make buying a set a good idea. if you get a flat tire
one year from now it might be difficult to find a replacement.
3)some people said kumhos are a good tire. is kumho 756 the correct
tire for the z600? on tirerack.com the size for this tire comes up
as 145/0-10 (i'm guessing the 0 because "sr" is not on their size
list ???) kumhos are a lot cheaper than the yokohamas in price. are
they also cheaper in quality?
