Starter replacement

I have a 1972 N600.
What's the least expensive way to fix my starter? Rebuild it? (Who
rebuilds them?) Buy a used one? (Who has one for sale?)

Any starter/generator rebuilder can rebuild your starter and most of them are reasonable.  I forget what I paid to have mine rebuilt.  Look in the yellow pages for a shop that does that type of work.
