Well I'm Having problems starting my car. I got it to run yesterday
for a long time. But today it was very hard to start and then it just
kept on dying on me. then ever time I'd try and start it for a long
time and the barttery starts to die. and my fuel guage doesn't work
at all I'm wondering if it could be bad gas because it has been
seating for a long time. any suggestions

Look at the fuel filter first thing.

Hi Crazysol1
Yes, the suggestion is go around and check your grounds. Just sitting is
called museum-itis, a corrosion problem with museum cars (cars that sit for
long periods of time and never getting started) Often this applies itself to
light bulbs and such, where the contact is not bolt on tight. As to the
fuel problem. Always keep the tank full, and if the time for storage is
longer then a year, drain the tank. Gas just sitting in a tank half full
will rust the tank out and then you have a sealing problem. I believe I
have an article on vehicle storage. I will put it up in the group page in
the file section.
