Photo Gallery Please Help!!!

For those of you that have photo albums, Yahoo gives me the following
message:
Storage Notice! Using 28.61 of 30 MB (95%) of your Photos/Briefcase
quota.
You are running out of space.
Please rearrange or delete some of your old photos, maybe some
members have left and forgot to delete their shots, if this is the
case and anyone knows about it, please let me know.

Maybe some folks can reduce their photo sizes.
I'd also be happy to move the Bonneville picture to the modified group - but most of those photos are 25-55K each, and I can see a few photos from other folks in the folders that are 500K each.

The full size photos in Rich's folder are 2.69 megs each!!!!!!! and
more than fills my screen. Can you guys shrink and reload the
pictures? I went and deleted most of my pictures, but we are still at
92% capacity.
To find out the size of your photos, maximize the photo and right
click, go to Properties and check the size. Reduce the shots to
around 80KB. A shot at 80KB and 72 resolution will still give you a
picture 8" wide. Your computer may have an optimizing program on it
or Adobe Photoshop works nicely.

If you have no other application, and can't figure out how big your photo
is, you can use Microsoft "Paint" to reduce the size of your picture, though
it is a bit clumsy.
- Find "Paint" in applications -> accessories. Maximize it so it fills your
screen.
- Using the "File" menu, open your photo. It may appear larger than the
frame.
- Select "Image" -> "Stretch/Skew"
- Enter the SAME percentage size (say, 30%) in the top "Horizontal" and
"Vertical" box.
- If the picture is not the "right" size, hit UNDO and pick another % value.
- choose "Save As" from the "File" menu and save the small photo with a new
name.
