Generator brushes

Post by reneandwafaa »

Hello to everybody.
I am based in the UK and have two Z600 coupes. They are orange (the only
colour imported into the UK I believe).
I am in the process of fixing a gearbox problem but I noted that the
generator brushes are very worn. Does anybody know of a source of such
brushes, please?

Look up Sherwood Garage in Sherwood Froest England and ask for Peter. He
should have the parts or know where yours can be rebuilt.

I found a replacement brush you can solder in. It fits a Milwaukee
Drill. It's the same size and you can get them at a good hardware
store that sells such items.
Here's the picture if it shows up:

Otherwise it's part # Milwaukee 94927, 126M.
Or I have the same brushes I bought from my supplier for $3.00ea.
When I get time I will be making up brush sets for sale
