Yet another wheel question.....

Post by Ray »

Hi all,
I need some help finding the thread a year or so ago about the Z
aluminum wheels that were on "pimp my ride" on MTV. I know that it was
around two years ago. I have searched and searched the archives but
cannot find the string. Anyway I remember the car was some Dihatsu
(sp?) car that the wheels were on. I just thought about that this week
and it hit me that if the Z wheels were on the show's car, then
shouldn't the Dihatsu wheels fit our AN & AZ's.
Just a thought.
KC
P.S. due to the generosity of a VERY nice fellow, I have 2 extra 71-72
Z rear glass pieces. If the people with the plastic inserts will
contact me, we might be able to work out a way to get them to you.

Can't find anything specific about those wheels, but here is something from April 2004...
Good luck,

Daihatsu Rims

Post by Steve »

I posted about the Pimp My Ride mags, when they were done the Honda
mags were not on the Daihatsu. The thing is though, they might have
been drilled for Austin Mini which is a 4" bolt pattern. I might
have posted it in Mod-Micros instead, so you might lok in there
first.

I think I remember seeing pictures of a coupe that had 4 spoke
wheels form an RX-7 on the rear only. Might that be what you're
thinking of?
