Looking for a sedan gear shift console bracket. probably impossible

Giving it a shot, anyone have a gear shift console bracket laying
around? i dont need the console itself but the bracket that relocates
the shifter and what the console screws to. Or maybe if you have the
entire thing for sale.

Any more info on the fuel door for the 1972 Honda 600 Sedan? You mentioned you may have a yellow-colored one. Would appreciate info on hinge, etc. Thanks!!

If you are talking about a console for a sedan, you can make the mounting brackets quite easily. Just bend up some thick sheet metal into "u" shapes. I'm not sure what you mean by the shifter bracket. If you don't have the correct shifter for the console you're kind of screwed. The original shifter will not work in the console.

From what the manual shows the shifter looks the same, can anyone
confirm this or post pictures of the differences? the shifter
console bracket in the manual looks like it just relocates the
shifter downwards.

Although it looks the same It is dimensionaly different. Every part on it is different. I imagine if you are dilligent you could modify a stock unit to make it work. But, be prepared to install and remove it several times. All of the pivot points are different, as are all the component lenghts. If a standard shifter would work it wouldn't have a different part number. Good luck.
