Replacements Seats for my N600 Sedan?

Hi Gang,
I am new to the group and a new owner of an N600. I'ts in excellent
condition but I'd like to make a few changes. I want to replace the
existing front seats with some modern, comfortable, bucket seats from a
newer Honda.
Has anyone done this? If you have please share the details. I'm
planning to keep the original seats in storage, of course. I'm
replacing the rear seat with a tastefully built speaker panel and
storage compartment. I'll put pic's of the finished project on my
website and let y'all know what the URL is.

The seats in my 71 N600 were beat up at 100,000 miles so I decided to
replace them. I found a very rusty very low mileage first addition Civic in
a wrecking yard. Bought the seats for $35.00 each. Darn things were like new
but when set in place you couldn't close the doors --- too wide. Back to the
wreckers to get a refund but he wanted me to look for somrething else. This
time I had measured the space I had. I ended up with the seats out of a
Pontiac Fiero mid engine 2 seater. Let the doors close, very comfortable and
the big plus was they have radio speakers built into the headrest! The down
side won't bother you. Being thicker in the backrest there is zero rear seat
leg room. mike

Ah, thanks for sharing your experience!
I think I can find some Fiero seats at the yard as well.
You are correct about the downside. I am installing a custome speaker set and a tool/storage box in place of the rear seat. So, no problem there!
