How to move sedan that does not have engine

HI All
I just got 3 600 sedans. There are probably enough parts to make a
single ok one.
2 of the bodies are VERY rusty and one is pretty nice- it has been up
on blocks since it's engine was pulled 20 yrs ago.
The ones w/ 4 wheels will be easy to move. However, I am not sure how
to move the one w/ the nice body and no front wheels.
Any ideas? I want to protect this one as much as possible b/c the body
is so nice.

Can't you just put wheels on it? Or, is the entire suspension gone?
If so, and assuming everything else is gone (engine, etc.) two people should be able to lift the shell. I'd recommend renting a uhaul trailer and just putting it on there. I was able to fit a rolling sedan into a uhaul trailer with no problem.

its going to be atleast a 2 person job to do, you will have to lift
the front and pull it up on a trailer, you can use some dollys to
get it to the trailer. bolting on a lower engine cradle with the
axles/hubs/wheels/shocks is what will be needed to roll the thing.
if you do get a uhaul tell them its for a 73 civic, they will not
rent out the trailer for a 600 since the computer says it doesnt
fit. it does fit barely.

I fit mine on a flat bed trailer. I will try to dig up some pictures.

Of those 3 sedans...would you have a fuel door for a 1972 Honda 600 sedan?
Still looking for one of those. I've had many responses, but so far no one has

Hi All
Thanks for the input. Since 2 of the cars have no front suspension, I
will probably use a uhaul trailer- maybe the big flat bed and use a
caster- wheel dolly under the front of the cars behind the engine
compartment to roll it onto trailer. Once I get it on teh truck, I can
jack it up, pull the dolly and use blocks- I don't want the car
rolling off the trailer when I move it!
It will probably be a 2 day project as th cars are about 3 hrs away- I
could do 1 day if I can get a trailer that will hold 2 cars.
I won't move the cars for a few weeks bb/c they are a ways away and I
buried in work. I will post photos.
RE- the gas door- these seem to rust out- most of the ones I see here
in pacific northwest are pretty bad. I will let you know if there is
an extra good one in about 3 weeks after I move the cars.

I'm going to be building dollies this week for my N600
collection-to-be so that I can easily move them around the garage of
my house, and so I can maximize storage space.
If anyone is interested, I can send them the plans. I drew the
dollies up in SolidWorks and have saved the files as .pdf's. I
designed them so that they can securely contain an N600 with inflated
tires or one sitting on all flats (like mine).
I'm experimenting with the correct casters to use though, and I think
the ones I've ordered may not be strong enough for the front of the
car, but are certainly beefy enough for the rear.
