Rate That Honda 2

Post by Steve »

Here's a nice looking sedan on eBay, Item # 140031119741. This car
looks to be very correct. This is what the other one I just rated
should look like. Too bad some of the pics are upside down and the
pics of the VIN are blurred, would be nice to see the engine number.
The paint on these Carolina Yellow cars holds up very well. The car I
used to own on the cover of AutoPhyle magazine is also the same paint
and is still original paint. To bad opening bid is so high, $6000.00
would be better if he started low with a reserve. Copies of the
receipts for the *new chrome* would be nice also. Should be worth open
bid, but since it has been in storage find out exactly what has been
done to the brakes, just adding pads & shoes won't fix stuck cylinders.

Looks Great! Some people are out of there minds though on their
opening bids! I wonder if it's mostly tiger hair & bondo? Looks like
a fresh paint job. It's a crap shoot if you buy sight unseen!

That Sedan is Tawny Yellow, not Carolina Yellow. Carolina Yellow was on the
Coupe.

Re: Rate That Color 2

I had always called it Baby Sh_t Brown. Mike Hebert is the one who
always called it Carolina Yellow. I love that color though, it seems
to hold up better than any other color on sedans up here in Nor-Cal.
