I hope I can get some help!
I'm trying to reassemble my Coupe engine, but I need some new gaskets
for the cylinder block and head. I made my own gaskets for the
crankcase (hope this is ok), but what should I do about the block and
head gaskets? Can I still cut my own? What about the gasket with the
metal cylinder "rings" in it?
I'm not looking for anything "high-performance"... I just want the
Coupe to drive again.
Also, is it true that I can buy new piston rings from Hastings?

You should be able to get new gaskets from Mike O'Connor (he sells entire sets) or Bill in San Diego.

Here's what I know about Hastings. I have not purchased any myself though...

Hastings Rings
Hastings only has certain sizes of rings available. Our Honda 600
uses: top 2 rings are 1.5mm and the oil ring is 2.5mm tall. If the
oil ring was 3.0mm tall we could use the Civic rings which are way
cheaper and come in sets of 4 and come in all sizes from STD to
1.00mm (75mm). A machinist can make the groove wider to accept the
oil ring for Civic. Some of the civics also run 74mm pistons.
Interestingly 1993 Geo Metro uses a 74mm piston with 17mm wrist pin
which is in the correct location, but the pistons are concave
instead of convex (domed). Maybe someone can make us some High perf
Geo pistons.
