weather stripping

would anyone have any ideas about where to find weather stripping? i
just picked up a zero rust 10/71 model z600 shell. i need weather
stripping for the doors and rear hatch. or if possible does anyone know
what i could use if no one knows where to find any... thank you

Bill C makes and sells the hatch weatherstrip. I bought it - works great.

looks close a JC Whitneys but have heard it is a bit to thick, and
that it takes a lot to close the door... any help would be super.

Your correct, the round full bulb will close hard. Look at the dimond (normally #3) on the list. J.C. Whitney says they are for a truck. Well, some small trucks may use that seal too. But it looks great on a Honda 600.

I'd recommend going with JCWhitney. I had installed Honda weatherstripping, and was very dissatisfied with it. It sealed poorly, and in fact you can see the ground through the gap. Because the seal is poor, wind noise is loud (so the radio is louder).
Avoid vintage Honda rubber stock. If not, I have nos sway bar bushings to sell....

Anyone have the part # to windshield rubber, side door weatherstrip, and rear side window weatherstrip at Jc Whitney. And is there a chrome one avaliable?

Hi Linda;
This is why I tell Honda 600 owners to use a 80 grit sanding wheel and just clean them up. These shops cut to much off and you have a bigger problem. Especially if you take it to a parts place, most don't even have a caliper to check the thickness before they start cutting, depending on the machine to do the work.
