Here are some measurements which I made.  The front measurement
was the most difficult to make because the steering wheel may not have
been straight on and the measurement gets influenced by the toe in / toe out
setting
41 inches on front  (and another measurement at a different spot was 40 11/16 inches)
39 1/2 inches on rear
These are inside measurements and they are on a US Honda 600 coupe with 145SR10 radial tires at 30 psi.
So,  there is another factor....the tires have some squat associated with them depending on whether they are radial or bias ply and the air pressure.
