Cam Chain tensioner.

Post by ALBERT JR LORING »

Take a look at the following.  Go to BikeBandit.com Click on OEM parts for Honda. Select 1975 CB750F, go to the parts breakdown for the, Valve, cam chain tensioner, Items # 8 and 13. Its been so long since I've worked on either a 600 or 750 that I can't remeber dimensions but it might be worth looking at plus they are still available as far as I know.

Al, good find!
We need to get to the Honda parts store and take some dial calipers.
I don't have my engine totally apart yet.
Does any one have NOS cam chain roller dimensions?
Our best and cheapest solution would be to modify a mass produced part that is close to what we need.
