I was parting out the rest of my 1972 coupe today. When I removed the gas tank and it had writing on the top from a wrecking yard that reads 72 coupe perfect!
Doubtful, I had to see that for myself. I drained it completely - no rust. Hmm. Shined my safe cracker flashlight down in and it Is Perfect ! So before I stick it on eBay I thought I would offer it to the public, and please contact me off list if you want it.
It's got the sender intact, working? don't know but I guess I could check it with an ohm meter. No leaks, Clean inside, no visible rust top or bottom. $150.00 + shipping from 95066 California.
