I speak from knowledge and not conjecture. You are speaking about me and what I have said about paint holding heat from somewhere that doe not include fact or an apparent use of a brain.
I'd be happy to match credentials and knowledge with you any day. You don't know me or my training, education, skill, experience or accumulated knowledge. I certainly wouldn't make disparaging remarks about you only being a deck hand.
You've attacked me personally by referring to me as a liar and a thief! Interesting from someone who uses false emails and names to send arguments and attacks to people. Interesting how petty you are when someone disagrees with you over the most obvious of science. What did you think when dropping me from "YOUR" Yahoo Group. Hope you felt good about playing a demigod. You must be extremely bored with your life to feel the need to waste so much of your time attacking me and the facts I present to help those who don't know what to do.
Bottom line is this. If people want to paint an air cooled engine there is no legal restraint from doing so. There are however the laws of Thermodynamics that would prevent heat from being transfered out of the engine. Heat kept in an engine will cause damage to the oil and the engine. If you don't mind the damage then go ahead and paint. Just know the facts so you can make an informed, intelligent decision.
