Okay, so this is weird. About one year ago, I wanted to replace an old Z600 that I had regretted selling several years before.
Since that time, I found a very nice original with bad timing chain rollers, and another car that is 85% restored, but still needs an engine rebuild. They were both so nice that I decided to buy both of them.
So I wanted to find a decent driver to enjoy until those projects are complete. I found a very nice example in New York, which I have been enjoying, but I found and purchased another yellow one just last month because it was a very nice original unmolested car at a very good price. So, that made four Z600s in less than one year!
However, just yesterday, I took my Panhard Dyna Z16 to a car show, and ran into a friend who lives less than thirty miles away from me, and who had offered me a Z600 several years ago which I had completley forgotten all about.
He told me that he still had the car, and if I was still interested, to come over and make him a fair offer. We agreed on a fair price, so now I have five Honda Z600s, and nobody needs five Honda Z600s! Besides, I now need to raise some funds to complete the first two projects.
As a result, I have decided to sell the yellow Z600 which I recently purchased. After I had that yellow one shipped home, I spent an afternoon getting it fired up and driving and the brakes seem to work fine. It still needs some sorting and final details, and there are some nicks and dents and one small rust area on one front fender, but easily repairable. It is a nice solid car, and should be a great starting point for a restoration, or very presentable as is. I would like to recoup my investment, but do not need to make a profit on this car, so it will still be reasonably priced, even with my shipping costs.
