2013 SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EVENT
In June, 1963 two Sports 500 prototypes arrived at American Honda for evaluation. They completed a 1,500 test drive from Los Angeles to San Francisco, across the central valley, into the Sierra Nevada mountain and back to American H. While the fate of these prototypes is unknown, they were the first Honda automobiles in America and perhaps the first seen outside Japan.
