Honda 600 muffler suggestion

I found a quality built reasonable priced muffler alternative for your Honda 600 or any other microcar. It's made of all steel, seems very sturdy and thick metal. My part supplier will not let me know where they get them, I think they maybe wholesale RV generator mufflers. For $ 40 bucks or cheaper these double pass glass pack sized mufflers can be had. Put a muffler on your Honda z600 or n600

Can you measure the original muffler that you show in your video? I have a replacement system and the PO decided to put the muffler where the spare tire goes. I want to have the muffler system re-done in the correct configuration but I am not sure the new replacement muffler is the same dimensions as the original. Hope you can help.

What about using that for the silencer between the engine and the rear muffler? I found this online, based on your 3300 number mentioned in the video: Flo-Pro Baffle Pack and this link: http://www.flopro.com/bafflespecs.html. I have not measured the original front silencer, but it looks like your find would fit.
The IMCO CM43 is what I used on the back of one of my N600 sedans several years ago.
Another likely wild idea, which may -- or may not -- fit (as I said, I have not measured yet) is this: Walker 21035 Tractor Muffler. According to the specs, it has 1.5 in. inlet and outlet, and the can/shell is 3.25 inches in diameter and 24 inches long. The long outlet might be cut down to make it all fit. The car I'm driving right now needs some help to quiet it down so I'm thinking about replacing the whole system with something common. I have a Sedan NOS front silencer and rear muffler in storage that I can compare these to.

I had a muffler shop install three similar glass packs on my sedan, so I have 4' of muffler on a 10' car. There is effectively no exhaust noise, since it can't be heard over the engine noise.

Interesting, on all 3 of my Hondas I have run a 24" glass pack resonator and a 12" glass pack muffler and never had any issues with it being too loud.  Is there a need to make them really quiet?  Any more qui et and I think engine noise would be louder than muffler noise....

I have a straight pipe from engine to a 24" glass pack "Cherry Bomb" on mine. I was hoping that it was going to be louder, much louder? When I'm driving I still hear the engine over the exhaust.    I even stripped the heater do-da out and had them put new pipe from front to back.
 "If its too loud then your too old" right!!!

When driving my car, it is lots noisier from the back than from the front. The muffler is starting to rot out, so I need to replace it. I want the best possible sound deadening I can get. I don't mind hearing engine noise while driving, but when people on the sidewalk turn and look when I'm still down the block, that's too noisy! Thanks for the picture, Gary. Very helpful to me.

The Walker muffler would do for the center pipe ( Advanced Auto Parts said it has little to no back pressure ) and the Flo-Pro Baffle Pack would work great as the muffler.  The two of them should act as a solution to anyone trying to replace a exhaust system.  The brackets on the original muffler could be attached to the Flo-Pro unit for a clean installation.
