In the attached picture, does anyone know what the item on the left is (and where it goes)?
The one on the right is a fan shroud cushion washer (for comparison).
The one on the left was being used as a washer to hold one of the upper heat sheild grommets.

I *think* it is a 90507-538-000. See page 167 of the
Honda_600_coupe_parts_catalog.pdf floating around on the 'net, or #12

Just a guess. I don't have one handy to compare.
On second thought, I would guess that 90507-538-000 would be larger,
so I'm not sure. I vaguely remember it taking up the better part of
my hand.

Looks like a valve spring seat to me.  Part 14775-551-020, item 17.

Valve spring seat. Fits under valve spring and keeps the cylinder head from damage from the valve spring.
