So 6 years ago you tailored your car to Tim Mings shop, he took some pictures and asked you to leave. He didn't work on your car or even touch it. Then because you get a call 2 weeks later from a detective (still 6 years ago) you associate it to Tim not working on your car? And now you feel it is appropriate to bring this up because you read about another unsubstantiated story? In my opinion Jefery; you need to work out some of that built up stress and get those two N600's out of the garage and running down the road.

Bill

Re: Watch out
So just for your info, the detective specifically tell me that the call was related to Tim and his shop and also since I gave him my info and cooperating with him he recommended me to stay away from tims shop until this was resolved.
And btw both of my n-600 are up and running, they are just sleeping in my garage because they are not the only project cars I have.

Watch out [6 Attachments]
I have purchased a few things from Mr. Tim but one day back in 2011 I towed one of my two honda. An-600's that I wanted to get fully restored to his shop for him to rewire it (btw my car did not have the front support at that time because it was still been restored ) and he came out of his place and saw my car and went back inside his shop and came back with a camera and asked me to stand next to my car and he started to take pictures of me, my brother and my car and after he finished taking pictures he told me to leave and never come back and I was asking him why was he acting like that and he totally ignored me so we left from there.
2 weeks later I received a call from a detective asking me several questions in regards to my personal info such as work, adress, and where I keep my cars.
Long story short, talking to a couple people I find out that he had been robbed and some of his important equipment was gone including an engine stand and he most likely thought that it was me who did it because my car did not have the front head lights support.
I still have both cars, but the one I took to him to be rewired is still in my garage just sleeping.
I just feel that it was really immature of him to accused me and treat me the way he did with out any proof.

I like getting all the info, and then I can make my own conclusions. Just saying.

Re: Watch out [5 Attachments]
Regardless of the sequence of events, Tim never worked on your car! So the complaint is what? Are you out any money? No.
I had a detective call me one time about a partial license plate number given to them by someone who said it was in a hit and run accident 200 miles from where I live. It was not even a Honda 600 but the detective was doing detective work, so he called. And yes I had to go out and take a picture of my car and fax it to them so they could go onto the next guy. It was unprofessional of the detective to tell you who gave them your name as that is not what they are supposed to do. In fact it is SOP for them not to.
But take them cars out of the garage and run them down the road. Cars are meant to be driven.
