There are a couple of ways to keep your wheel cylinders and all your breaks up to snuff for many years. DOT5, after resleeving the cast aluminum cylinders in Brass. Go to Sierra Brakes at http://www.brakecylinder.com/ , who have done
really great work for me in the past. But he hates DOT5, I on the other hand have used it in my Corvette for 20 of its 25 years of life. I put in new fluid back in 1990, drove it to the Vette show this last month and it stopped like a dream. This is a Vehicle that has 4 cylinders per wheel including a power assisted dual master cylinder. If your interested I have some information on how to go about changing over. And I believe Hemmings (HMN) Special Interest Auto (SIA) mag did a article on how to a few years back. HMN will send the article if you ask, I am not sure of the cost.
